Board Directors are formal leaders who help guide a company’s strategy and make major business decisions.

reminder

Director Development Initiative
About
The DDI works with for-profit and non-profit boards of directors to help match aspiring board members, particularly those from underrepresented groups, with board opportunities. The initiative provides training for those interested in corporate board service, maintains a database of potential board directors, works with corporate nominating committees to conduct board searches of the database, maintains a clearinghouse of other organizations that work with aspiring board members, and conducts a census of North Carolina public company board representation every three years.
