With its origins as a Venture Lab, 1789 has expanded its scope to include anyone at the university who shares its mission to build a more innovative campus and offers a virtual community to all students interested in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Membership is free to all UNC students. 1789 provides free mentoring services with a diverse group of experts, meet and greet events and funding opportunities. We love fresh ideas that move the world forward and we are also committed to your individual development. It is our mission to help student ventures succeed and foster a community that gives all UNC students an opportunity to build skills through innovation and entrepreneurship that transfer to any career field.

NC State Entrepreneurship Clinic
